Revenue allocation for classical genre

On the survey, we asked respondents to allocate their gross music-related income earned in the past 12 months amongst eight possible buckets. Income from: (1) composing/songwriting, (2) sound recordings, (3) performances, shows, concerts, (4) being a salaried player, (5) being a session player or freelancer — in the studio or on the road, (6) merchandise/brand, (7) teaching or (8) other.

The chart above shows the aggregated results of this allocation for those respondents for whom classical was their primary genre. Read more about revenue types
